LOST IN COLORS

ADRENALINA a new sofa collection

From the beginning, color has been and remains the leitmotif of the brand. It is a theme that evolves into a thousand shades and molds itself around the unconventional and unexpected forms that year after year enrich the collection.
In the new collection, Adrenalina raises the stakes with some apparently symmetrical structures that, upon closer inspection, seem to defy the laws of physics. They recall the concepts of avant-garde deconstruction, reducing the thickness or enhancing the curves of products that are very diverse but which converse in a common language: color.

LOST IN COLORS - Colors lost and found
This is the concept of the Adrenalina 2017 showcase, where the indecision between one range of hues and another, and Adrenalina's love of color explode into a rainbow that embraces the entire collection. From the rich saturated colors of V² and SLY to the gradient tones of the pixelated textures obtained from the high-quality technical fabrics used for the TRAFIC collection, colors criss-cross from one piece to another, quieting to the pastel tones of the DOUMO collection. The journey ends in the explosive mixture of the SOFT MACHINE sofa, which combines and reconnects every shade.
The eye for technical detail, the attention to softness and a nod to fashion trends reconfirm the Adrenalina philosophy: furniture that breaks the mold, which can bestow individuality on its environment without sacrificing comfort.
Once again, the collaboration with designers Italo Pertichini, Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni, and the Japanese Setsu & Shinobu Ito proves to be a winner.

DOUMO
[sofa + armchair]
Design: Setsu & Shinobu Ito

Doumo is a Japanese expression that invites you to sit – our "yes, please" in response to the question "may I sit down?"
The Doumo collection is as courteous and kind as its name. Slight roundness and convexities break the pattern of straight lines that characterize it, filling the flat surfaces with softness, without disturbing the purity of the lines.
Doumo is a collection of sofas and armchairs that, thanks to freely interpretable color schemes, fit easily in tune with workspaces or spartan and essential domestic areas.
The structure is supported by metal legs that sculpt its identity.
It is offered in a wide variety of sizes and colors.

SLY
[sofa + armchair]
Design: Italo Pertichini

The full curves and wraparound form define the design of the Sly. Sly is available in two versions: with low back or high back, opening like a shell to welcome someone seeking a cozy corner or
an oasis of privacy. Both versions are characterized by two small, “magical windows” – cracks that open to the outside world, but that retain discretion and privacy, closed with colored strings that break the severity of the lines with their lacing.

V2
[sofa + chair]
design: Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni

The flagship collection of Adrenalina at the 2017 Salone del Mobile is V2, consisting of a sofa and armchair designed by Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni. The designer continues his quest for dynamism, creating forms that express movement, yet appear admirably stable and in balance.
V2 is antisymmetric, messy, antistatic. In imbalance it finds its equilibrium, as the two 'V's fit one into one another with a deliberately disproportionate angle. The V2 sofa and armchair exude speed, energy and movement, thanks to their asymmetrical design that makes them only superficially discordant. The project is inspired by the linear minimalism of the "Mid-century Modern" architecture and design movement that characterized the '50s.

About Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni
Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni is an architect born in Rimini in 1960, who graduated in Architecture in 1992 from the University of Florence. In 1980 he created SLEGO, for twenty years the reference point of new music and often considered the most important Italian rock club. In 1982 he co-founded the think-tank of graphics and multimedia COMPLOTTO GRAFICO (Graphic Conspiracy), a group of visual designers formed in Rimini and consisting of architects, painters and graphic artists.
In 1986 he was one of the four young architects who founded BOLIDISMO, an innovative movement of international design and a turning point of Italian taste in the eighties. Since 1980, he has created architectural, scenographic and image solutions for many of the most innovative nightclubs and some of the most important restaurants on the Adriatic Riviera of Romagna.

TRAFIC
sofa + armchair + tête-à-tête chair
design: Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni

Only in the individuality of everyday life you can trace the line of separation that allows the creative emergence of consciousness.
Trafic is a collection that fits into the frenetic life and the digital rhythm of people moving in the bustle of airports, stations and waiting rooms. This collection adapts to "non-places" anonymous, transient spaces frequented by like-minded individuals who keep more and more to themselves. Trafic is an anthropological interpretation of supermodernity, the subject of a futuristic and creative view. The tête-à-tête sofa is the most disruptive element of the collection, a room centerpiece that allows two or more people to sit simultaneously on each side without seeing or recognizing each other, guessing only from shadows and movements.
The linear armchair and sofa complete the collection inspired by individuality seeking shelter and finding an ideal refuge hidden in contemporary forms.
